Are Your Adrenal Glands Freaking Out?

CORTISTOP

This topic is pretty familiar to me!

A few years ago, I began to have, what I thought was to be heart problems. My legs/feet were swelling, I was experiencing numbness, panic feelings. I think maybe the panic was due to my complete overthinking, but seriously! I was pretty worried.

I decided NOT to go the route of a traditional MD, but went to a Natural Health Clinic. BEST idea EVER. My heart was fine, blood pressure fine, adrenal glands? not so fine. I honestly had never heard of adrenal glands. So began the research!

The ENDOCRINE SYSTEM consists of pretty important stuff.  The pituitary gland, thyroid gland, parathyroid gland, adrenal glands, pancreas, ovaries and testicles. The endocrine system produces hormones that control and effect nearly every part of your body. See the importance? I never knew hormones were anything more that PMS until I researched!

The Adrenal Glands are my focus today to better explain Cortisol.

Adrenals affect METABOLISM, BLOOD PRESSURE, THE IMMUNE SYSTEM, SEX HORMONES and the body’s reaction to STRESS. Dr. Jim Bob Haggerton talks about adrenal glands here.

The Adrenal Glands produce a variety of hormones, including ESTROGEN, ADRENALINE, and CORTISOL.

When a person is stressed or frightened, the adrenal gland releases a flood of hormones, such as adrenaline and cortisol. These hormones increase the heart rate, elevate blood pressure, boost energy supplies, sharpen concentration and slow down other body processes so the body can run from or fight a threat.

When under stress, the body produces cortisol. When cortisol is produced too frequently, it can have negative health consequences such as feelings of fatigue, difficulty maintaining healthy weight, and difficulty maintaining optimal health of cardiovascular systems.

Cortistop is designed to help support the glandular systems of both MALE or FEMALE.

WHAT’S IN CORTISTOP AND WHY

  1. Pregnenolone: supports hormones

  2. L-a-posphatidylserine and L-a-phosphotidylcholine: supports nuero transmitters

  3. Black cohosh: supports hormone balance

  4. DHEA: supports hormones

  5. Clary Sage: supports estrogen – either high or low – ADAPTOGENIC

  6. Conyza canadensis: supports digestion, inflammation of the body, aids in the support of the body during the menstrual cycle

  7. Fennel: digestive support

  8. Frankincense: neurological support, digestion and immune system support

  9. Peppermint: digestive support, aids in the balance of blood sugar and body temperatures

That’s A LOT of support in a few capsules! However, the recommendation is to use for 8 weeks and take a 2 week break. The reason for this is so that you are SUPPORTING the organs to do their jobs, rather then doing the work for them.
