This DK weight mohair yarn is grown slowly and intentionally on our Texas farm, where our Angora goats are raised with care and attention to natural rhythms. The fiber is then milled in small batches by The Sheepwalk Fiber Mill, preserving its loft, strength, and signature halo.
Slightly fuller than fingering weight, this yarn creates fabric with more presence while still maintaining the softness and airy character mohair is known for. It is a versatile workhorse for garments, accessories, and cozy heirloom knits.
Each 100g hank reflects the subtle variation of small-batch farming—no two are ever exactly alike, making every project uniquely yours.
